Workforce Extensions FNQ Health is a local Registered NDIS Provider with lived experience in the disability sector. Registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, we are passionate about delivering high-quality, participant-focused supports that empower people to achieve their goals and live life their way.

Our experienced team provides a broad range of supports to participants of all ages and varying support needs across Far North Queensland. With specialised training across NDIS support services, community nursing and high-intensity supports, we are committed to delivering safe, professional and person-centred care.

WE understand that every participant is unique. That’s why we take the time to understand individual goals, preferences, interests, and support requirements, allowing us to thoughtfully match participants with support workers who are the right fit.     Daniel is a highly experienced Registered Nurse with 20 years of experience, including 10 years in management roles within the Aged Care industry. With a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and qualifications as a Justice of the Peace (JP Qual) in Queensland, Daniel brings a comprehensive set of skills to his work. He has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by staff and organisations in the Aged Care sector and is dedicated to person-centred care. Daniel excels in effective staff recruitment, managing quality and financial outcomes. Daniel is actively involved with the support and care of a family member with a disability and therefore has first-hand experience from the participant perspective in navigating NDIS supports. This lived experience gives him a true understanding of the challenges faced by participants when trying to access quality support services, and influences how and why Workforce Extensions FNQ Health operate in the NDIS space. Driven by his passion for helping others, Daniel is devoted to providing training and support to guarantee the delivery of exceptional care & Supports.

Lara’s deep love and care for the disability sector can be traced back to the rewarding nature of her work, and she holds a self-described inquisitive nature which ensures that she never stops learning.

Passionate about empowering people to live with choice, independence, and dignity, Britney is committed to ensuring participants receive high-quality, client-centred supports that align with their goals and aspirations. She has a genuine passion for management and leadership, believing that supporting and developing staff is fundamental to delivering exceptional care and positive participant experiences. Known for her compassionate approach, strong communication skills, and ability to build trusted relationships, Britney is dedicated to advocating for participants while fostering collaborative partnerships with families, providers, and the wider community.

    Nick is an organised and dedicated Administration Coordinator who plays an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. He works closely with participants, support workers, healthcare facilities, and the wider team to ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. With a strong focus on communication, compliance, and operational excellence, Nick is passionate about creating effective systems that support both staff and participants. He takes pride in building positive relationships, solving problems, and ensuring every detail is managed with professionalism and care. Nick is committed to continuous improvement and believes that quality administration is the foundation of exceptional service. His approachable nature, attention to detail, and genuine commitment to supporting others make him a valued member of the team and an important part of delivering positive outcomes across both the NDIS and aged care sectors.

    Our Services

    Assistance with daily life and household tasks
    We provide personalised NDIS support to assist participants with daily living and household tasks, helping maintain independence and achieve individual goals. Our compassionate support workers can assist with activities such as meal preparation, personal routines, cleaning, laundry, shopping and other everyday tasks, delivering reliable support tailored to each participant's needs and preferences.
    Travel and transport arrangements
    We offer reliable, safe and specialised travel and transport for NDIS participants, utilising modern vehicles with wheelchair restraints up to 200kg. Our vehicles have been specially sourced and modified to meet your needs to ensure your safety and comfort during transportation.
    Participation in group and community activities
    We support NDIS participants to attend group and community-based activities, making it easier to stay connected with the community and participate in programs they enjoy. Our friendly support workers provide safe, reliable transport and assistance throughout the activity, helping participants build confidence, develop social connections, and engage in meaningful experiences.
    Daily personal activities
    We provide respectful and personalised support with daily personal activities to help NDIS participants maintain their independence and wellbeing. Our experienced support workers assist with tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility, and other everyday routines, delivering care that is tailored to each participant's individual needs, preferences, and goals.
