About the Role
We are currently seeking Civil Construction Supervisors and Leading Hands to join a respected civil and infrastructure company based in Townsville. These are ongoing opportunities with an immediate start for the right candidates, offering consistent work on large-scale civil construction projects.

You will be responsible for coordinating teams on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. These roles require hands-on leadership with the ability to guide crews, liaise with project managers, and maintain compliance with safety and quality systems.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Supervising and leading civil construction teams across various projects
• Managing daily site operations and ensuring project milestones are met
• Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
• Enforcing site safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and job documentation
• Providing on-the-tools support where required
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting to project managers

To be successful in these roles, you will need:

• Construction White Card
• Proven experience in civil construction leadership (Leading Hand or Supervisor level)
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, roadworks, or subdivisions
• Ability to manage teams and prioritise tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to safety and compliance standards
• Relevant plant operation tickets (highly regarded but not essential)
• Driver's licence
