Workforce Extensions Whyalla is currently seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for a 3 month mining project at Prominent Hill Mine.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure strong hourly rates on a reputable SA mine site with full camp facilities provided.
What's on Offer

- 8/6 Day Shift 7/7 Night Shift
- 12-hour shifts
- 3 month project commencing April 2026
- Fly in/fly out from Port Augusta or Adelaide

Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient operation of large mining dump trucks
- Pre start checks and routine equipment inspections
- Operating in accordance with site safety systems and procedures
- Working collaboratively within production teams
- Maintaining high housekeeping and reporting standards
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience operating dump trucks in a mining production environment
- Current driver's licence
- Strong safety focus with proven compliance to site procedures
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on an 8/6 roster
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
- Willingness to complete all required site inductions and onboarding documentation prior to mobilisation
Candidates must be physically fit for work and able to meet strict site compliance standards.
