About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Plumber on a full time basis in Townsville.
The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for carrying out new installation and refurbishment works on Industrial and Commercial chilled water Air-Conditioning systems for our clients diverse and extensive client base, growing rapidly.

Due to ongoing company growth throughout North Queensland, our client is seeking reliable, motivated, and experienced Mechanical Plumbers to join the Mechanical Projects Team in Townsville on a permanent, full-time basis.

Essential Criteria, Qualifications and License Requirements

• C class drivers Licence
• QBCC Mechanical plumbers Licence - or ability to obtain
• Security clearances and Blue Card - or ability to obtain
• Additional licences highly regarded
• Simpro Knowledge (preferred, not essential)

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following;

• Commitment to the production of high-quality work and the ability and desire to always deliver exceptional customer service.
• The ability to work autonomously and within the team
• Previous experience with Commercial Chilled water systems would be highly advantageous, however not compulsory
• Knowledge of chilled water installation principles and best industry practice
• Knowledge of basic construction principles
• High quality of workmanship and attention to detail
• Leadership qualities
