Bookkeeper

Workforce Extensions Geelong is recruiting on behalf of Associated Cold Tread Tyres, a long-established and respected Geelong business, for an experienced Administration Officer/Bookkeeper to join their administration team. This is a flexible opportunity suited to someone with strong bookkeeping experience who enjoys working in a supportive and busy office environment.

About the Role

Reporting to management, you will be responsible for a broad range of bookkeeping and administrative duties across multiple companies within the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
• Managing the general ledger and generating reports
• Processing end-of-month journals
• Preparing monthly BAS statements
• Processing payroll when required
• Reconciling bank statements
• Processing intercompany transactions
• Responding to customer account enquiries
• General administrative support duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping/administration role
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience using accounting software
• Knowledge of Attaché accounting and payroll software would be highly regarded, though not essential
