Lead a Commercial Construction Project from the Ground Up

On behalf of our client, Regis Built, Workforce Extensions Geelong is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a major commercial construction project in Drysdale, commencing in October 2026.

Reporting to the Project Manager based in Melbourne, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Prior to commencement, you'll receive comprehensive company onboarding and have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Site Manager on another active project to ensure a smooth transition into the role. We are looking for a person who is organised, a good communicator, proactive, safety-focused, and someone that prides themselves on top of grade site!

About the Role

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall coordination of the Drysdale project, including:

• Managing all day-to-day site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and trades
• Driving project programme and construction milestones
• Ensuring all works comply with plans, specifications and Australian Standards
• Leading site safety and WHS compliance
• Conducting toolbox meetings, inductions and site inspections
• Maintaining quality assurance throughout construction
• Managing site documentation, reporting and project records
• Liaising with the Project Manager, consultants and key stakeholders
• Monitoring site resources, deliveries and subcontractor performance
• Overseeing commissioning, defect rectification and project handover
• Promoting a positive, professional and safety-focused site culture

About You

We're looking for someone who brings proven experience delivering commercial construction projects and enjoys taking ownership of a site from start to finish.

Ideally, you'll have:

• 10+ years experience as a Site Manager within commercial construction
• Diploma of construction management with a background in Carpentry
• Forklift, white card, tele handler/EWP
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and construction compliance
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• The ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining programme and quality outcomes
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience using MS office, Site book ideal

Experience delivering industrial, warehouse or self-storage developments would be highly regarded but is not essential.
