Fixed Plant Fitter/Fabricator

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of Perth's leading road maintenance and asphalt civil contractors. This role will ideally be suited to a fitter that resides North of the River. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair to both the batching plant and fleet of mobile plant machinery and service trucks. Your main duties will include maintenance and repair work to the batching plant which is aging and now in the process of regular maintenance and upgrade. Mechanical tasks, fabricating, repair and servicing as well as replacement of parts on various plant equipment are some of your daily activities.

Duties

• Servicing, preventative and breakdown maintenance to fixed plant and fleet of on and off-highway mobile plant. You will also be working on small to medium size civil-construction-roads-asphalt machinery and associated ancillary equipment, applicable to roads construction and maintenance ancillary equipment.
• Qualified Fitter (Certification preferred)

• Hydraulic and fabrication knowledge preferred.
• Confined space and working at heights tickets ideally
• Shutdown experience or ex FIFO Fitters encouraged to apply
