MACHINERY ASSEMBLERS, Modular Housing - Experienced Labourers required

Our client, Alpha Engineering & Construction, experts in the permanent modular building industry, are currently looking for experienced labourers to assemble the equipment / machinery required to manufacture modular houses / buildings.

Specialising in the residential market, our client will be responsible for constructing multiple buildings simultaneously in their factory located in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs.

This role will require you to work for a leading modular builder, in a factory-based environment, assembling the machinery required to deliver prefabricated buildings for residential use across Australia.

You'll be part of a reliable team helping to deliver a high-quality product in a clean and well-organised facility.

This is a long-term opportunity with consistent hours and potential overtime available down the track.

THE ROLE:

Labourers required to assemble the machinery/equipment used to manufacture prefabricated buildings/houses
Factory based work, will involve the assembly of the following machines:

• CONTAINER LOADING MACHINE
• 3D MODULAR HOUSE MOULDING ASSEMBLY MACHINE

Hours: Monday to Friday (7am to 3.30pm)
Factory environment, based in Dandenong South

THE CANDIDATE:

To be successful for this role, you MUST have the following:

• Proven experience assembling the machinery required
• Ability to read & interpret plans
• Previous on-site or factory experience
• Full PPE
• Current Driver's Licence & reliable transport
• Able to use hand & power tools
• Experience in modular, residential or light commercial construction, advantageous
• Be physically fit & capable of performing the required tasks
• Reliable & punctual with good attention to detail
• Providing assistance with other related tasks, as needed
• Strong work ethic & ability to work in a team
• Excellent communication skills

CASUAL work but could become ongoing.

In order to work, all applicants must have their own PPE (steel capped boots, hard hat, safety glasses, working gloves, hi-viz clothing), reliable transport and a White/Red Card.
