Truck Driver - Heavy Combination

About the role

On behalf of Chief Group Solutions we at Workforce Extensions are seeking an experienced Truck Driver - Heavy Combination to join their team. This is a full-time position, offering competitive wages and excellent benefits. You will play a vital role in their road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of their plant and equipment across the region.

What you'll be doing

• Operate heavy combination vehicles, such as semi-trailers, to transport Plant & Equipment
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition
• Adhere to all relevant road rules, regulations and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate logbooks and other documentation as required
• Assist with loading and unloading of plant at delivery sites
• Communicate effectively with internal & external stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of their transport operations

What we're looking for

• Valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
• Confident in loading & unloading large civil plant
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Truck Driver - Heavy Combination
• Strong understanding of road transport regulations and safety practices
• Excellent driving skills and attention to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
• OH&S Induction for construction industry (White Card)
