About the Role

Workforce Extensions Geelong is proud to partner with a respected national manufacturer to recruit reliable and safety-focused distribution staff. This hands-on role plays a critical part in converting steel coil into quality building products, loading, and dispatching orders, and supporting customer service on site.

You'll join a busy operations team where safety, quality and timely delivery are essential. The role also involves assisting trade customers who visit the site, while ensuring a clean and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate roll forming and materials handling equipment
• Pick, pack, load and prepare orders for dispatch
• Greet and assist customers attending the site, keeping wait times low
• Follow all safety procedures and conduct equipment checks
• Complete quality checks and minimise production waste
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work collaboratively to meet production and delivery targets
• Support general factory operations including stocktakes and visual audits

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from skilled and experienced applicants, particularly those with a background in manufacturing or production environments. However, we're also open to motivated and reliable candidates of all abilities because attitude is everything.

Preferred experience includes:

• Exposure to manufacturing, warehousing, or materials handling
• Strong focus on safety, process, and quality
• Forklift licence or relevant handling equipment experience
• Good communication and a team-oriented mindset
• Physically capable and dependable
