Legacy Energy Pty Ltd is a Victorian-based renewable-energy company specializing in solar farm construction and turnkey energy solutions. The team brings together deep experience in civil works, commercial construction, and large-scale solar development. In preparation for a major solar farm project commencing in early January, Workforce Extensions Geelong are building a strong on-site team to support the initial stages of construction and the rapid scaling that will follow. Work will extend through the first stages of 2026, with the labour force increasing as the project progresses.

About the Opportunities

We're looking for reliable, capable workers who can contribute to the early setup of the site, including Unpacking materials, laying, and preparing foundations, assisting with general installation and site-prep tasks. As the project ramps up in February and reaches full construction pace, there will be opportunities for workers to take on more responsibility, move into more technical work, or support the additional teams joining the project.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a strong mix of hands-on people, including:

• Solid construction labourers who can follow direction and show initiative
• Confident trade assistants experienced with tools, measurements, levelling and supporting trades
• Trade-qualified candidates who can take on more complex tasks
• Individuals with natural leadership ability who can step up when required
• Solar experience is not essential as training will be provided. What matters most is attitude, capability, and a willingness to contribute to the build.

Requirements

• White Card (mandatory)
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle - Site has very limited access to public transport
• Previous experience in construction, civil, trades or similar (any level considered)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Strong communication and a safety-first approach
• Reliability, dependability and willingness to work hard
