We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated 2nd Class Welder for a busy workshop based in Malaga. This is a local position offering excellent hours and a competitive flat rate for someone ready to put the work in.
With 60 hours per week available, this role provides an excellent opportunity for consistent, high-volume earnings.
What's on Offer:
- Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour (Flat Rate)
- Hours: 60 hours per week available (Earn over $2,200+ gross per week)
- Location: Malaga workshop-based
- Roster: Monday to Saturday
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing workshop welding duties, with a heavy focus on Flux Core welding and Studbolt welding.
- Assisting with general trade assistant duties, including grinding, material handling, and keeping the workshop clean and safe.
- Operating workshop machinery and equipment safely.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven, solid experience with structural steel welding.
- High proficiency and comfort with Flux Core welding is essential.
- Prior experience or strong capability with studbolt welding.
- Physically fit and capable of sustaining up to 60 hours per week in a demanding workshop environment.
- Must be a local Perth resident with reliable transport.
- Forklift (LF) ticket and Overhead Crane experience/tickets are highly desirable and will put you at the front of the queue.
