Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our growing Pilbara-based practice. This role offers a strong mix of compliance and advisory work, providing high-quality tax, accounting, and strategic support to a diverse portfolio of SME clients.

You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, BAS/IAS, financial statements, and reconciliations while also delivering proactive tax planning, budgeting, and performance insights. This position goes beyond compliance - you will work closely with clients to identify risks, opportunities, and growth strategies that add genuine value to their businesses.

The role includes overseeing workflow management, reviewing bookkeeping accuracy, ensuring timely lodgements, and maintaining strong technical standards. You will mentor junior team members, provide structured feedback, and contribute to improving internal systems and processes.

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, confident in client communication, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines. Experience in public practice and strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation is essential. CPA/CA qualification (or working toward) is highly regarded.
