Aluminium Fabricator

General job description:

• Cutting & Machining aluminium sections
• Fitting required weather seals to the appropriate sections
• Glazing sashes
• Assembly of frames
• Glazing fixtures
• Assembly of sashes into frames
• Revealing windows & doors
• Assembly of screen doors & flyscreens
• Loading trucks & delivery of product
• Unloading & unpacking stock
• Delivery of products to site
• Installation of products on site

Products Manufactured:

• Aluminium windows, doors, flyscreens, screen doors, shower screens, mirrors, wardrobe doors and shopfronts

Skills Required:

• Good communication skills
• Use of manufacturing equipment
• WHS General induction for construction work in NSW

Responsibilities:

• You are to report to the Senior Management Team and Production Manager.
• You are to adhere to all WHS procedures and policies
• You are to keep your work areas clean at all times

Employment conditions

• Casual position (contracted 38hrs per week) subject to review with the possibility of full time (after 6 months qualifying period)
• Wages Classification is C12
• Superannuation as per Superannuation Guarantee levy Legislation
• Employment is under the Modern award. Manufacturing & Associated Industries & Occupations Award 2020
• On the job training will be provided
