Assemblers/Fitters

For over 30 years our client has been a go to manufacturer of specialised equipment and are now looking to add to their day shift team.

They are family owned small-medium sized manufacturer with a passion for what they do and a passion for producing products to the highest possible standards. They have an enthusiastic and stable team who value supporting each other and are growing!

As part of their growth strategy WE are looking for experienced Fitters/Assembers to join their team on a full time basis.

To be considered for these positions we are looking to speak with candidates who have the following skills, experience and attributes;

• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans/drawings
• Strong problem solving skills
• Have strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work autonomously or in small teams
• Display a genuine committment to long term employment
• Be reliable and punctual
• Enjoy challenging and interesting work
• Good work ethic and willing to learn and listen
• Experience in any of mechanical assembly, auto electrical, machine plumbing or hydraulics settings
• Trade background in fitting or mechanical discplines (preferred, not essential)

Your Experience:

We are looking for candidates who have experience in either auto electrical, mechanical assembly, machine plumbing, and/or hydraulics.

Hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 7:30am - 1:30pm Friday, with overtime available once established. Applicants will be required to complete a drug and alcohol screen prior to commencement.

An attractive hourly rate will be negotiated based on previous experience.
