Brake Press Operator

Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Brake Press Operator to join their growing team.

An innovative and developing business our client, which is a leading Australian manufacturer of electrical switchboard manufacturing facilities based in Thomastown, you'll play a pivotal role in assembling cutting-edge electrical switchboard facilities. This exciting opportunity will start on dayshift Monday - Friday 7am-3.06pm, for a highly motivated Brake Press Operator, to become an integral part of the team. This is a Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Your Tasks Will Include:

• Trouble Shooting / Problem Solving Techniques.
• Start up and shutdown of machines.
• Quality control of product.
• The ability to read and understand drawings.
• Daily running of machines (Stainless Steel and Aluminium)
• Quality Assurance
• Computer programming (setting up measurements)
• Other warehouse duties when required.
• Able to meet quick turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prior experience in Production/Brake Press Operator or similar role is essential, willingness to learn and work as a team.
• Physically Fit and healthy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative, punctuality, and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work closely with others.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
