About the Opportunities

Workforce Extensions Geelong is currently recruiting experienced Civil Plant Operators for ongoing opportunities with a well-established civil construction contractor operating throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.

These roles offer full-time hours, ongoing work, and the opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of infrastructure and civil construction projects.

Location

• Depot based in Werribee
• Various project sites across Melbourne and surrounding regions
• Travel to different project locations will be required

Available Positions

Water Cart Driver / Roller Operator

Essential Requirements

• HR Truck Licence
• Roller operating experience and/or relevant ticket
• Civil construction experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Operate water carts for dust suppression and moisture control
• Conduct compaction works using rollers
• Complete pre-start inspections and equipment checks
• Assist site crews as required
• Adhere to site safety and traffic management requirements

Dump Truck Operator

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrated dump truck operating experience
• Relevant licences and tickets

Key Responsibilities

• Operate articulated and rigid dump trucks
• Transport materials around active construction sites
• Work alongside civil and earthmoving crews
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections
• Follow production targets and site instructions

Excavator Operator

Essential Requirements

• Excavator ticket and demonstrated operating experience
• Civil construction experience

Key Responsibilities

• Bulk earthworks and site preparation
• Trenching and drainage works
• Loading trucks and moving materials
• Working safely around underground services
• Daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
