Food Manufacturing Cleaning & Sanitisation Staff

We are looking for reliable people to join a busy food manufacturing team in Ballarat, working Monday to Friday from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. There may also be opportunities for additional hours.

This is a little different to your typical cleaning role. The focus is on cleaning and sanitising stainless steel production equipment, machinery and food manufacturing areas so everything is ready for the next day's production.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and sanitising production equipment and machinery
• Removing food product and residue from production areas
• Following cleaning, hygiene and food safety procedures
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• Working as part of a small team to get the job done properly
• Making sure equipment and production areas are cleaned to a high standard

What we're looking for

You don't necessarily need previous food manufacturing experience. People with backgrounds in food production, hospitality, commercial cleaning or similar environments will be highly regarded.

More importantly, we're looking for people who are:

• Reliable and take pride in their work
• Have good attention to detail
• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work
• Able to follow instructions and procedures
• Happy working as part of a small team
• Understand the importance of cleanliness and food safety

Training will be provided, but reliability, attitude and attention to detail are a must.
