The Role:

Are you a Clinical or registered Nurse with a passion for fostering culturally competent healthcare? We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Clinical/Registered Nurse to lead and support a healthcare team working closely with Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Indigenous communities to deliver culturally sensitive and holistic healthcare.
  • Oversee and conduct health assessments, develop care plans, and provide education on preventive care.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive healthcare environment.
  • Draft, review, and update policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight to nursing staff engaged in Indigenous health programs.

About you:

Successful candidates must possess the following:

  • Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
  • Current National Police Check
  • Up to date Covid and Flu Vaccine. (Minimum 3 Covid shots. And annual flu shot.)
  • Proof of your rights to work in Australia. (AUS passport/birth certificates, or foreign passport with your AUS visa.)
  • DHS work with Children.
  • DHS work with vulnerable person.
  • First Aid Certification
  • BLS: Provide basic emergency life support.
  • Hand Hygiene
  • Manual Handling
  • Covid Infection Control
  • NDIS screening & orientation
