The Site Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining site-based machining equipment and required to conduct refurbishment, precision milling, and CNC machining tasks.
This role ensures the reliability and accuracy of critical milling components, contributing to efficient plant operations and product quality.
- Operate and maintain site-based lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment.
- Perform fluting refurbishment on mill rolls to precise tolerances.
- Conduct precision machining, drilling, and surface finishing.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of machining equipment.
- Assist with installation and alignment of refurbished components.
- Ad hoc tasks as required, including:
- - Sifter screen replacement.
- - Stores inventory control and stock checks.
