CNC Plasma Operator - Workshop Fabrication (Malaga)

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced CNC Plasma Operator to join a busy industrial workshop based in Malaga. This is a high-volume production environment requiring a candidate who is prepared for consistent overtime and physically demanding work.

Only Candidates currently living in the Perth region with full working rights (Permanent Residency or Citizenship) will be considered, as this role moves to permanent after 3 months.

Duties and Skills

• Operating CNC Plasma machinery and ensuring high-quality output.
• General workshop duties and assisting with material preparation.
• Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts, totaling 60 hours per week.
• Must be physically fit and capable of sustained manual labor.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced workshop environment is essential.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating CNC machinery within a workshop environment.
• Tickets: Forklift (LF) and Overhead Crane experience/tickets are highly regarded.
• Visa Status: Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (Casual to Permanent after 3 months).
• Location: Must be currently living in Perth with full working rights.
• Communication: Good English communication skills for onsite safety and instructions.

On Offer

• $45 per hour flat rate + Super.
• Consistent, long-term hours (60 hours per week).
• Casual to Permanent transition after the initial 3-month period.
