About the Role

An established and growing restoration services provider is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Building Remediation Technician to join their team.

This is a hands-on role with a strong technical focus, working across residential and commercial properties. You will be involved in mould remediation, controlled strip-out works, and specialised remediation techniques, contributing to the safe restoration of buildings.

This position suits someone with a trade or hands-on background who is looking to move into a more specialised and technical field within the construction and restoration industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Carrying out mould remediation in line with industry and safety standards
  • Performing controlled strip-out works with care for surrounding structures
  • Setting up containment zones and negative air systems
  • Using specialised equipment and remediation techniques
  • Assessing and handling contaminated materials safely
  • Supporting water and building damage restoration processes
  • Maintaining detailed and compliant work practices on-site

About You

We're looking for someone who is not just hands-on, but also engaged, reliable, and capable of following structured processes.

You will have:

  • Experience in a hands-on environment (construction, labouring, trades, etc.)
  • A strong understanding of safety and site procedures
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
  • A proactive and reliable approach to work
  • White Card and driver's licence

Highly regarded:

  • Any further study, certifications, or training in construction, building, or related fields
  • Experience in remediation, restoration, or insurance works
  • Asbestos awareness or confined space training

Why This Role Stands Out

This is not a standard demolition or labouring role. You will be working in a specialised remediation environment where precision, safety, and process are critical.

You'll receive training in industry-specific techniques and have the opportunity to develop skills in a growing and technical field.

What's on Offer

  • Full training in remediation and restoration techniques
  • Stable, ongoing employment
  • Competitive pay with progression opportunities
  • Supportive and professional team environment
  • Exposure to a variety of technically interesting projects
