Construction Worker

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a local, respected Geelong-based business specialising in the construction, engraving and installation of monuments.

They're looking for a capable construction worker to join the crew in a long-term role, working across a variety of active job sites.

Please only apply if you hold a current Forklift licence, along with a MR, or HR truck licence

What you'll be doing:

• Setting out and sandblasting inscriptions - On site training provided
• Working with natural stone - On site training provided.
• Operating a medium rigid truck to transport machinery, materials, and equipment to and from sites
• Assisting with general labouring duties including digging, prepping foundations, and setting up formwork
• Working on-site with the team: Setting up foundations, pouring concrete, installing monuments
• Loading and unloading materials using truck crane, overhead factory crane and forklift (Forklift license required - Crane use can be trained)
• Operating small plant such as excavators and truck-mounted cranes (experience ideal, but not essential - will train)
• Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised

What you'll need:

• Medium or Heavy Rigid truck licence (required)
• Forklift licence and/or experience (required)
• Excavator experience (preferred - training available)
• Truck-mounted crane experience (preferred - training available)
• Hands-on experience in trades, concreting, or general construction
• Physically fit and willing to get stuck in
• Able to work unsupervised and as part of a small team
• Looking for stable, long-term employment
