Customer Service Officer - Service Reception

Workforce Extensions Geelong is recruiting on behalf of Associated Cold Tread Tyres for a Customer Service Officer to join their busy service reception team. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being the first point of contact for customers.

About the Role

Based in the main service office, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations by assisting customers, coordinating service bookings and providing administrative support to the service team.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing first point of contact for customers in person, over the phone and online
  
• Ensuring customers are assisted promptly and professionally
  
• Initiating and processing service jobs
  
• Preparing invoices and processing payments
  
• Liaising with customers regarding pending, in-progress and completed jobs
  
• Preparing customer quotes
  
• Completing various service-related administrative duties
  
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the service department

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous customer service experience
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
  
• Competent computer and administrative skills
  
• Experience within the tyre, automotive, mechanical or related industry would be highly regarded
