Farm Hand

Seeking a friendly down to earth person to assist on a 600-acre farm full time. This farm is located near Ballan and will be offered as full time permanent (part time applicants would also be considered). No two days will be the same and you will have the ability to manage your own workload. Please note applicants who are looking to enter the industry will also be considered as full training will be provided.

Some of your duties may include:

• Splitting wood
• Chainsaw work
• Putting up/fixing fences
• Assisting with feeding/care of various animals (pigs, cows, chickens and horses)
• General farming and maintenance duties as required

This is an ideal job for someone who has strong hands on skills and is wanting a low stress job. Previous farming experience would be highly regarded but not essential.

A successful applicant:

• Has a valid driver's licence
• Is able to work independently
• Has the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Has strong reliability
