Field Merchandiser

Workforce Extensions is partnering with Australian Hardware Merchandising to recruit a Field Merchandiser for an ongoing, full-time role supporting relay and project-based merchandising activity across Bunnings Warehouse locations in Queensland metro and regional locations.

This position is well suited to someone who enjoys project-focused work, is comfortable with extensive travel, potential overnight stays, and can work autonomously while managing multiple sites and timeframes.

About the Role

In this role, you will support and deliver store relays, refits, and project merchandising activity across a large geographic area. You will be responsible for ensuring project requirements are met on time, while maintaining strong in-store execution and communication with key stakeholders.

The role involves a significant amount of travel, including overnight stays, and requires strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Supporting and delivering relay and project-based merchandising activities
• Working across multiple retail sites to ensure project specifications are met
• Managing travel schedules, site visits, and project timeframes independently
• Using basic hardware tools and equipment as required for project work
• Liaising with store teams and internal stakeholders during project execution
• Ensuring consistent standards and accurate completion of project tasks

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a travel-heavy position.

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A current driver's licence
• The ability to undertake frequent travel and overnight stays
• Exposure to hardware, tools, or hands-on retail environments
• Physically fit and able to undertake repetitive manual handling
• Strong time management skills and the ability to manage your own schedule
• A proactive approach and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Previous experience in merchandising, retail projects, or field-based roles is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.

What's on Offer

• Base salary: $55,000 - $58,000 per annum + superannuation
• Car allowance of approximately $15,000
