Fitter & Turner - CNC machinist

Key Responsibilities:

As a Fitter & Turner - CNC/Machinist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• CNC Machining: Utilize your extensive machining experience to set up and operate CNC machines efficiently and accurately.
• Programming: Develop and modify CNC programs as needed, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Jobbing Shop Expertise: Bring your background in a jobbing shop environment to bear, handling a diverse range of machining projects with versatility and skill.
• Quality Control: Maintain a keen eye for detail and consistently produce high-quality machined components, adhering to specifications and tolerances.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with CNC machines, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

Qualifications:

• Extensive Machining Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, preferably in a jobbing shop environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in CNC programming, setup, and operation. Familiarity with a variety of materials and machining processes.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC machining processes.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality control, ensuring the production of components that meet or exceed specifications.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team to achieve common goals.
