About the Role

Workforce Extensions Ballarat is recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for experienced Fitters and Mechanical Assemblers to assist with the installation and commissioning of high-end production equipment at a site located near Launceston.

This project will run for approximately six months and offers consistent full-time hours, regular overtime, and excellent on site conditions.



What You'll Be Doing

• Mechanical assembly, fitting, alignment, and installation of production machinery
• Assisting with testing and commissioning of new equipment
• Working as part of a professional team to meet installation timelines
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and quality workmanship

What You'll Bring

• Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, etc.) or solid hands-on mechanical/assembly experience
• Experience in machinery assembly, maintenance, or fitting environments
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and follow detailed instructions
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and flexibility to work overtime when required
• Availability for a 6 month project
