Join a high-performing team at Kingfield Galvanizing, one of Victoria's leading steel treatment facilities. Workforce Extensions are on the lookout for an experienced Forklift Driver & Tagger to support safe, efficient yard operations at their Somerton site.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Load/unload trucks with care and precision using a forklift
- Tag and record incoming/outgoing steel items correctly
- Check customer orders, job instructions, and inspect steel for correct holes, venting, and drainage
- Operate forklift attachments and adhere to all safety procedures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and contribute to a strong safety culture
What We're Looking For:
- Current forklift license with minimum 1 year's forklift driving experience (steel industry experience ideal)
- Physically capable and confident handling large steel items
- Great attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable using basic computer systems for tagging and job tracking
- Safety-focused mindset and team-oriented attitude
