About the Role

The Hamilton Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Garden Maintenance Specialist to take pride in maintaining and enhancing established green spaces across their iconic Federal Mills precinct and other local properties.

This role is focused on garden care and presentation, not landscape construction. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality outdoor environments, including structured gardens, hedging, and feature landscapes.

Why This Role is Different

This is not a "build and move on" landscaping job.

We are looking for someone who enjoys:

• Maintaining established, high-quality landscapes
• Working on detailed gardens, hedging, and topiary
• Taking ownership of presentation and consistency across sites

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaped gardens across commercial and residential properties
• Hedging, pruning, shaping, and topiary work
• Lawn care including mowing, edging, fertilising, and weed control
• Identify and treat pests, diseases, and plant health issues
• General garden upkeep including planting and seasonal maintenance
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Ensure all sites are kept to a high presentation standard

About You

We are specifically looking for someone who:

• Has experience in garden maintenance (not just landscaping construction)
• Takes pride in detail, presentation, and consistency
• Enjoys working with established gardens and green spaces
• Can work independently and as part of a team
  
  Essential:
• Qualification in Landscaping, Horticulture, or similar
• Minimum 2 years' experience in garden maintenance or similar role
• Driver's Licence and own transport
• White Card
  
  Highly Regarded:
• Experience with structured gardens, hedging, or topiary
• Experience maintaining commercial or heritage properties

Hours

Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am - 1:30pm
