Job Description:

The Gardener / Groundskeeper Leading Hand is responsible for performing the gardening, landscaping, and grounds maintenance services, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient operations. This role may involve supervising and training a junior staff and maintaining the health, safety, and appearance of gardens, lawns, facilities and outdoor areas. This role requires a hands-on approach, and you will have the knowledge and capability to adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate gardening and grounds maintenance services
• Experience in supervising
• Maintain high-quality standards and efficient operations
• Utilize digital maintenance management software
• Perform gardening, landscaping, and grounds maintenance tasks
• Promote a culture of safety and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with all company's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar
• 5+ years of experience in the gardening/groundskeeping industry
• Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
• Maintain equipment and vehicles
• Current driver's license
• Parks & Gardens Cert III (Desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
