Machine Operator

Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Warehouse Operative to join their growing team in Sunshine West.

An innovative and developing business our client, which is a leading Australian manufacturer of (Plastics and Rubber Injection mould machines) based in Sunshine West. This exciting opportunity will be on dayshift. Monday - Friday 6am-2.30pm pay rate is $30.13ph, for a highly motivated Warehouse Operative, to become an integral part of the team. You must be available to work, Monday to Friday and Saturday as required. This is a Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Your Tasks Will Include:

• Picking orders from Scanner operation ETC.
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Cycle counts
• Forklift operation
• Preparing orders for dispatch
• Manufacturing tasks
• Quality Assurance
• Other warehouse duties when required.
• Able to meet quick turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a strong focus on quality and safe work practices
• Quality Assurance
• Hold a car License with own reliable transport
• Must have current LF Forklift Licence
• Pick and pack and repetitive lifting of product between 5-20kg throughout the shift
• Customer service and attention to detail
• High attention to housekeeping and safety High attention to detail and accuracy
• Prior experience working within manufacturing environments
• Physically Fit and healthy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Initiative, punctuality, and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work closely with others.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
