Maintenance Technician (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Workforce Extensions Geelong are currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance worker to support the ongoing operation of our client, Think Fencing. This role will involve maintaining and troubleshooting equipment across extrusion lines and recycling plant, ensuring minimal downtime and safe, efficient operation.

We are open to full-time or permanent part-time arrangements, depending on the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot faults across extrusion and recycling machinery
• Assist with breakdown response to minimise downtime
• Support continuous improvement of plant and equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

About You

• Previous experience in a maintenance or mechanical role (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
• Hands-on, reliable and able to work independently
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems (electrical knowledge a bonus)
• Strong commitment to workplace safety

Additional Opportunity - Weekend Crew

We are also seeking a weekend-only maintenance/production support crew, working Saturday and Sunday (7am - 7pm, 24 hours per week). This role will focus on supporting basic operations across extrusion and recycling systems and may suit candidates seeking part-time or additional hours.
