Management Accountant

About the role

This is an end to end accounting position where you'll take ownership of key finance tasks from daily accounts through to financial reporting and BAS preparation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily financial operations and general ledger
• Preparing monthly management reports with insights and analysis
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
• Performing reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable and month end tasks
• Supporting BAS preparation and lodgement
• Working closely with the leadership team as a trusted financial voice
• Helping to shape and improve financial systems and processes

As the business continues to grow, so will the scope of this role. There's real potential for someone to step into a more senior finance position over time.

About you

You might already be in a management accounting role, or ready to take the next step. Either way, we're looking for someone who's hands on, motivated and excited by the idea of growing with an energetic and successful business.

We'd love to see:

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting (CPA/CA qualified or working towards)
• Solid experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally in a business setting
• Great attention to detail and an organised, proactive work style
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
