Workforce Extensions Geelong have begun working with the team at AKD to assist their recruitment team in filling many available positions. These positions are based at their large sawmill facility in Colac. When travelling from Geelong, the drive to Colac takes anywhere from 45-50 minutes, and has very little traffic making the drive scenic and seamless as opposed to driving to Melbourne.

We are seeking candidates across a range of Production roles including the need for skilled Forklift Operators.

• Permanent Full-time positions
• Day Shift Hours - 5:30am - 3:30pm, 4 shifts per week with a rotating day off per week.
• Afternoon Shift Hours - 4:00pm - 2:00am, 4 shifts per week with a rotating day off per week.
• Each shift there is a 10min paid break and a 30min unpaid break.
• $27.84p/hr Entry level rates, plus 15% loading for hours worked to midnight, and 30% loading for hours worked after midnight.
• Payrates increase with experience and performance.
• Overtime available via invitation which can be either working your RDO, doing some hours before or after shift or a weekend shift.

Experience is not necessary for these roles; we are looking for reliable candidates who are happy to learn and get along with a great team.
