Workforce Extensions Geelong are seeking motivated and physically capable Metal Worker Labourers (Fettlers) to join the team at a long-standing manufacturing business in South Geelong. This is a hands-on role within a foundry environment, working with cast metal products. You'll be using hand and pneumatic tools to finish castings and contribute to a supportive, safety-focused team.
What you'll do:
- Use air grinders and chisels to clean and finish metal castings
- Knock castings out of moulds and remove excess material
- Operate shot blasting equipment and jib cranes
- Assist with general labouring and packing tasks in the foundry
What we're looking for:
- Physically fit with experience in manual labour
- Able to handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail
- Comfortable using hand and air-powered tools
- Forklift licence - Must have
- Reliable, punctual, and a solid team player
- Committed to workplace safety and procedures
