Operations Manager - Plumbing

The Opportunity

Total Plumbing Solutions is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help lead and coordinate our day to day operations. This role will work closely with the Director and team to ensure projects run smoothly, staff are supported and jobs are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll play an important role in keeping the business running smoothly by coordinating field staff, managing workflows and helping drive operational improvements as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will oversee the day to day running of operations, ensuring jobs are scheduled effectively and teams are supported to deliver quality outcomes.

Responsibilities will include coordinating plumbers, apprentices and subcontractors across multiple jobs, monitoring project progress and ensuring work is completed on time and within scope. The role will also support quoting, job tracking and cost management while maintaining strong communication between field teams, office staff and clients.

You will also help maintain strong client relationships, resolve operational issues when they arise and ensure work is delivered to the company's quality and safety standards.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have strong organisational and leadership skills along with experience in operations, project coordination or team management within a plumbing, construction or trade services environment.

A background in the plumbing or trade industry will be highly regarded, along with experience managing field teams, coordinating multiple projects and using job management systems.

Most importantly, you will be a proactive problem solver who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and supporting teams to perform at their best.
