About the Role

As the Operations & Sales Manager, you will lead the day-to-day manufacturing operations while driving business development and customer engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee production, improve operational efficiency, and contribute directly to revenue growth.

You will play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and performance targets are achieved while building strong relationships with clients and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Production

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and quality control
• Ensure efficient processes and continuous improvement across the facility
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity

Sales & Customer Management

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key clients
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
• Achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction outcomes
• Process orders and provide quotations

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach, and support a team of direct reports
• Monitor performance and identify development opportunities
• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with OHS and industrial relations requirements
• Manage incident reporting, workplace injuries, and workers compensation in collaboration with HR
• Strengthen and maintain workplace health and safety systems

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated success in sales or business development
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Solid understanding of workplace health & safety and compliance requirements
• Ability to balance operational priorities with customer and commercial outcomes
• A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
