About the role


Join our valued and highly rewarded team of casually on-hired nurses and care staff in delivering superior care outcomes for patients, family and staff in Australia's leading health and aged care organisations.

We are currently experiencing a high demand for AM shifts in the Townsville region.

Please note that we are a Nursing Agency and therefore shifts are often offered/filled at short notice and not planned in advance.

Duties


PCA's who join are team will be expected to provide:

  • Manual handling
  • Superior personal care
  • Feeding
  • Domestic support
  • Medication administration (competency dependant)
  • Bowel management
  • Hoist transfers
  • Make a difference to residents in providing exemplary care
  • Work collaboratively within teams
  • Willingness to learn and interact with new people and systems
  • Strict adherence to facility and governmental accreditation standards
  • Kitchen, laundry or housekeeping skills are highly regarded.

Skills & Experience


Successful applicants will possess the following:

  • Demonstrate a willingness to provide exceptional person-centred care and support to residents
  • Demonstrate a willingness to provide exceptional person-centred care and support to residents
  • Manual handling certificate
  • Value teamwork and collaboration
  • Exhibit a passion for making a different in the lives of residents
  • Aged care experience (highly regarded)
  • Cert III or IV in Aged Care or individual support (or similar) or be working towards nursing certification (must have completed either aged care/acute placement)
  • Current National Police Check
  • Current COVID-19 and 2024 Flu vaccinations
  • A positive "can-do" attitude with excellent time management skills.
