Plant Operator

We are currently seeking experienced Plant Operators to support a range of civil construction projects across Tamworth and surrounding areas.

These roles offer consistent, hands-on work across projects including roadworks, subdivisions, and infrastructure development. You'll be working with established contractors who value safe, reliable operators and quality workmanship.

About the Role

Depending on the site and project, your duties may include:

• Operating plant and machinery including excavators, loaders, rollers, skid steers, or graders
• Assisting with earthworks, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation
• Conducting pre-start checks and basic maintenance on machinery
• Working alongside site supervisors and ground crews
• Maintaining safe and efficient work practices at all times
• Following site plans, instructions, and safety procedures
• Supporting general site activities as required

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience operating civil construction machinery
• Relevant plant tickets and licences (essential)
• Strong understanding of site safety requirements
• Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work
• White Card (essential)
• Driver's licence and reliable transport
• HR Licence (desirable but not essential)
