Workforce Extensions Geelong is looking for an energetic, organised and people-focused Recruitment & Office Coordinator to join our growing team in Rippleside. This is not a traditional office administration role. While you'll play an important part in the day-to-day operation of our office, a major focus of this position will be recruitment - speaking with candidates, understanding their experience and career goals, sourcing talent, identifying suitable opportunities and helping connect good people with good businesses.
About the role
Working closely with the Directors and recruitment team, you'll initially gain exposure to all areas of our business. You'll learn how our recruitment and labour hire operation works from the ground up, while progressively taking greater ownership of candidate management, recruitment, and placements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Where the role can lead
We're looking for someone who wants more than simply another administration job. For the right person, there is genuine scope to develop into a broader recruitment role where you can take ownership of vacancies, manage candidate relationships and eventually become more involved with clients and business development. You'll have the opportunity to learn recruitment from experienced business owners while gaining exposure to permanent recruitment, labour hire, candidate management, compliance, marketing and business development.
About you
About Workforce Extensions
Workforce Extensions is a locally owned and operated recruitment and labour hire business supporting employers and job seekers throughout the Geelong region and beyond. We recruit across a broad range of industries and occupations, which means you'll speak with everyone from labourers, tradespeople, and machine operators through to administration staff, managers and other professionals. We're a people-focused business and believe good recruitment comes from taking the time to understand both sides of the relationship - what our clients need and what our candidates are looking for. You'll be joining a small team where you'll work directly alongside the business owners, be involved in the day-to-day operation of the business and have the opportunity to make the role your own as you develop.
The opportunity
This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, based from our Rippleside office.
If you're already working in recruitment or employment services and are looking for more responsibility, greater variety, and the opportunity to develop your career within recruitment, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply now and tell us a little about yourself, your experience and why recruitment is the direction you'd like to take your career.
