Retail Sales & Store Assistant (Part-Time)

Pivot Stove & Heating is a well-established, family-owned business with a long-standing reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service. With showrooms across Victoria, they specialise in heating solutions and are known for their supportive team culture and hands-on approach. An opportunity has become available for a Retail Sales & Store Assistant to join their Dandenong showroom, replacing a long-term team member who is relocating. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple aspects of a retail environment.

About the Role

This is a part-time position (approx. 35 hours per week), working:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm (4 days per week)
• Saturday: 10:00am - 3:00pm

You will be involved in all areas of the store, including:

• Assisting customers with product enquiries and sales
• Managing paperwork, orders, and customer follow-ups
• Supporting stock control and inventory management
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Assisting plumbers and customers with product collection (forklift use - no licence required)

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a reliable and adaptable team member who can confidently manage a mix of responsibilities. Ideally, you will have:

• Previous retail or customer service experience
• A proactive approach and ability to work independently
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence interacting with customers and tradespeople
• A willingness to be hands-on with stock and warehouse tasks
