S26 OHS Supervisor - Mine Site Demolition Projects

We have an excellent opportunity for you to join one of Australia's leading demolition businesses which with 40+ years of operation accumulating a portfolio of work that includes some of Australia's most recognised landmarks and toughest engineering challenges.

This full time FIFO opportunity requires you to be an experienced S26 Safety Supervisor. You'll be working on various mine sites across Western Australia, contracted to mining giants like Rio Tinto and BHP. This is a position where your primary function is ensuring workplace safety is forefront and practised in specific areas and operations.

As a S26 Supervisor, you'll be responsible for managing risks and making sure work is done safely in your area. You'll need to follow the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022. Your skills will be key in overseeing demolition work, making sure rules are followed, and helping build a strong safety culture on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finding and managing workplace dangers and putting safety measures in place.
• Making sure all work follows the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 and other relevant laws.
• Watching over the work of others and making sure safe practices are always used.
• Talking with workers and clearly sharing safety information.
• Making sure workers have the right training and skills to do their jobs safely.

What We Need From You:

• You must have the S26 Statutory Supervisor training.
• Proven experience as an S26 Supervisor in the mining industry, ideally in demolition or other heavy industries.
• A strong understanding of relevant Work Health and Safety laws and how to manage risks.
• Great leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to ensure rules are followed and keep safety standards high on active mine sites.
