About the Role

Your initial focus will be workshop based, where you'll undertake hydraulic hose manufacture, hydraulic cylinder rebuilds, pump, motor and valve repairs, hydraulic diagnostics, preventative maintenance, pressure testing, equipment commissioning and a variety of workshop repairs.

As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll transition into a mobile service position where you'll attend customer breakdowns, diagnose hydraulic and mechanical faults, complete on site repairs and preventative maintenance, commission equipment and provide the responsive, high quality service that Hydrautech has built its reputation on. You'll play an important role in helping customers minimise downtime while developing long term relationships built on trust and professionalism.

About You

We're interested in speaking with qualified Diesel Mechanics, Mechanical Fitters, Fitter and Turners or other suitably qualified tradespeople who have strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy solving technical problems. Previous hydraulic experience will be highly regarded, however experienced mechanical tradespeople with the right attitude and a genuine desire to develop specialist hydraulic skills are strongly encouraged to apply.

You'll take pride in producing quality workmanship, have strong diagnostic and fault finding abilities, communicate confidently with customers and colleagues, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a close knit team. A current driver's licence is essential, while licences or experience such as Forklift, HR, Working at Heights, Confined Space, welding or fabrication will be viewed favourably.
