Site Supervisor

Workforce Extensions are partnering with a highly regarded Victorian builder to recruit an experienced Foreman to join their Ballarat based construction team.

With a strong pipeline of work and excellent support from both site and office based teams, this is an opportunity to step into a well supported role where you'll have the autonomy to drive projects, maintain quality outcomes and keep programmes on track.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have experience delivering smaller commercial projects (up to $5M) and/or have a background supervising residential construction for volume builders.

About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day management of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Driving project programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved
• Planning, coordinating and supervising daily site activities
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
• Maintaining strong communication with project teams and stakeholders
• Monitoring quality, compliance and safety requirements
• Preparing progress reports and communicating project updates
• Identifying and resolving site issues proactively
• Participating in construction and project meetings
• Promoting a positive safety culture across all site activities

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

• 5+ years' experience within the construction industry
• Previous experience running commercial construction projects
• Experience within residential or volume builder environments (highly regarded)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple trades and stakeholders effectively
• Sound understanding of construction methodologies, safety and quality requirements
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
• Basic Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project skills

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/Cert IV in Building & Construction or Trade Qualification
• Construction White Card
• Full Victorian Driver's Licence

Additional qualifications such as First Aid, Working at Heights, Traffic Management, EWP, Forklift, Scaffolding or OH&S certifications will be highly regarded.
