About the Opportunities

Workforce Extensions is partnering with a well established earthmoving and civil construction contractor delivering large scale projects across Victoria. With a strong pipeline of bulk earthworks projects ahead, we are seeking experienced and skilled plant operators for immediate starts.

Current opportunities include:

• 651 Scraper Operators x 2
• 657 Scraper Operators x 2
• GPS Grader Operators (16M / 14M)
• Multi Skilled D10T / D11T Dozer and Grader Operators x 2
• GPS Excavator Batter Trim Operators x 2

These roles offer consistent full time hours, overtime opportunities and the potential for ongoing long term work with a reputable contractor.

Candidates with bulk earthworks and final trim experience will be highly regarded.

About the Roles

You will be operating machinery on active bulk earthworks projects, working closely alongside other operators and site supervisors in a fast paced environment.

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently across large scale earthworks sites
• Work around heavy machinery including scrapers, excavators, dozers, graders and haul trucks
• Complete bulk earthworks, trimming and final trim works to specification
• Operate GPS equipped machinery where applicable
• Work in soft ground, uneven terrain and changing site conditions
• Follow site plans, supervisor instructions and safety procedures
• Complete daily pre starts and basic machine checks
• Maintain a strong safety focus at all times
• Assist with general site duties as required

What You Need

• Relevant experience operating the machinery listed above
• Experience in bulk earthworks and civil construction environments
• GPS experience highly regarded for grader and excavator roles
• Strong understanding of working around plant and heavy machinery
• Reliable, safety focused and able to work in a team
• Ability to pass pre employment drug and alcohol screening
• Current drivers licence and reliable transport
• Immediate availability and willingness to work overtime and Saturdays
• A current poilice check (or ability to complete prior to commencement)
