About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead and manage a variety of Commercial, Defence, and Government projects based in Townsville and surrounding regions. This is a long-term opportunity with a reputable contractor delivering high-quality construction outcomes across secure, complex, and regulated environments.

As Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Duties Include

• Managing site operations, subcontractors, and labour teams
• Coordinating materials, equipment, and scheduling of works
• Ensuring compliance with Defence, Government, and safety standards
• Conducting toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings
• Communicating with project managers and stakeholders
• Monitoring project progress, quality, and productivity

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience supervising commercial or government construction projects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
• Sound understanding of construction drawings, codes, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Construction White Card
• Current driver's licence
• Defence/RAAF Base access (or ability to obtain) highly regarded
• Relevant trade qualification or building supervisory certification (desirable)
