Workforce Extensions is partnering with a well-established earthmoving and civil construction contractor delivering large-scale projects across Victoria. With a strong pipeline of bulk earthworks ahead, we're seeking experienced MC and HC Truck Drivers who are ready to start immediately in Bendigo.
These roles offer consistent full-time hours, overtime opportunities and the potential for ongoing long term work with a reputable earthmoving contractor.
About the Role
You'll be operating HC or MC trucks on active earthmoving and bulk earthworks sites.
Duties will include:
- Transporting material across site and between work areas
- Operating trucks safely in soft ground, uneven terrain and changing site conditions
- Working closely with excavator, dozer and loader operators
- Following site traffic management plans and supervisor instructions
- Completing daily pre-starts and basic vehicle checks
- Maintaining a strong safety focus at all times
- Assisting with general earthmoving and site duties when required
What You Need
For HC Drivers:
- Current HC licence with synchro gearbox experience
- Proven experience driving trucks in earthmoving or bulk earthworks environments
For MC Drivers:
- Current MC licence with non-synchro (Road Ranger) gearbox experience
- Demonstrated experience operating Road Ranger gearboxes in earthmoving environments
For Both Roles:
- Strong understanding of working around plant and heavy machinery
- Experience operating in soft ground and high-traffic site environments
- Reliable attendance and a solid safety mindset
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Immediate availability and willingness to work overtime and Saturdays
- Construction White Card (highly regarded)
