The Opportunity:

Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Warehouse Storeman to join their growing team in Thomastown.

An innovative and developing business our client, which is a leading Australian manufacturer of electrical switchboard manufacturing facilities based in Thomastown, you'll play a pivotal role in assembling cutting-edge electrical switchboard facilities.

This exciting opportunity will start on dayshift working in the Thomastown area, Monday - Friday 7.00am - 3.06pm, for a highly motivated Warehouse Storeperson, MUST have current Forkift licence to become part of the team. The casual pay rate will be $35.60ph + Pen+ Super, Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate Tasks will include:

• Picking / Packing Orders
• Receiving & Dispatching Stock
• Data Entry - complete all paperwork required.
• Move Stock and materials around the warehouse.
• Operate manual pallet Jack.
• Manual handling as required.
• Package and label stock
• Other various assigned warehouse duties
• Operating Forklift - MUST hold valid LF licence
• General warehousing duties

To be successful in this role, the successful applicant would ideally possess the following skills:

• High attention to detail
• Previous experience in similar role Warehouse / Pick Packing
• Physically fit & able for manual handling
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia - Available to work 38 hours per week.
• OH&S awareness and emphasis on safety in the workplace.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Current Forklift (LF) licence - Is a MUST
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude
• A willingness to work

Ideal skills and experiences:

• Previous warehousing experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role
• Must have current Forklift Licence
