A hospital in Heidelberg is seeking a dedicated Waste Services Officer to support the effective and timely collection, movement, and management of waste streams, including general, recycling, and clinical waste.

About the Role

As a Waste Services Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sustainable environment within the hospital. Key responsibilities include:

Collecting and transporting waste from key collection points

Adhering to waste management procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Contributing to waste reduction initiatives to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Supporting the hospital in achieving its waste management and sustainability targets.

Working collaboratively with staff across all departments to promote environmental responsibility.

Monday - Friday 6:00am till 2:00pm

What We're Looking For

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Fit and capable of walking upwards of 10km a day

Commitment to environmental sustainability and safe work practices.

Ability to follow procedures and contribute to workplace safety.
